Server #9 Racing changes

Here are some ideas I've pulled together.

1) There's two types of hogs. Either take one out or the other. Maybe smaller compact maps should have rocket hogs. Maps like blood gulch and infinity should probably have the machine guns cuz its funner to have a longer duel in gunning positions. Hogs in maps like infinity and stuff suck cuz then you spawn all the way back where you were before. Which means a long way.

2) Mo hogs please

3) Infinity spawning style stinks. At the beginning both red and blue team spawn on the same side. It stinks cuz everyone is susceptible to spawn killing, grenading, team disruption, and all the above.

4) Get them hotkeys ready for admins. That server has no time to waste when you have to type things out everytime.

5) lower respawn time for hogs
6) Server message at the beginning of a new round: "this is a race server / no slaying" or something similar

Admining this server is like not enjoying it at all :( You spend more time worrying about a slayer and then you get killed. Pfffff

7) No gernades. No point in having them. They seem to be a team disruption and a way to hog jock. Do we even allow hog jacking?

lol, That happened to me yesterday. Was driving a guy while he gunned for me, we were grenaded and my gunner got to the hog before me and jacked it. The jerk couldn't wait another second for me to get in, lol.

Hog respawn at 30 seconds??

These are all ideas that would help lead to a stellar race server!

The best two, IMO, would be getting as many hogs in there as possible and re-spawning the hogs
ASAP! People slay when there are not enough vehicles.

Jook, Mandalor, and I are working on further ideas if anyone wants some input or has ideas we would love to hear about them.

How about adding a few Ghost's To infinity and Death Island? also what about racing
on Timberland! + Ghost? Just a thought.....Also would it also be a good idea to add to more hog on top of death island?

We removed ghosts since they were much of the main causes of chase kills and slaying. Ghost riders tend to chase other defenseless hog drivers and can spawn kill the spawning opponent team. No bueno :shock: Maybe we could have an all ghosts map ^^ But I think we might stick just to hog racing. Not sure.

Ok Just thought Gist would be cool and if there is a way to stop the ghost for shooting that might work? :think

Hmm i will discuss this with the others and see if it is possible.
