Notice the yearly trend. On Aug 8 was the free weekend for Insurgency. There it actually reached an all-time high of 9,000 players playing it at one time. Notice as well the high amount of players in November and December resulting form recent sales. A lot of decline in player activity resulting from these all-time highs. We'll see what the future holds.

Insurgency reached a player high today, about 8,000 last time I checked, almost as high as the 9,000 playing in August of last year. Today's record passed those records during November, when the game went on sale for $1.
