After seeing Vox's dragonfly pic and scouring the forums, I couldn't find a general photography thread, so I felt like I should make one.

Post any cool pics that you have taken in here! Photoshop is allowed, but at least have it be a picture you took.

I'll start with the two I'm going to enter into a contest soon, and if people like what they see, I'll post more.

As always, these are high resolution pictures, so be warned that the images are huge.

I have always contemplated the idea of setting up a forums for it but never thought about posting stuff. Thank you for this unique opportunity Stealth.

Well, these were my first attempt at astrophotography last year. There not brilliant but you can see some sun spots.
Took them with my 8"SCT and a camera adapter.

Wow, this is getting way more traffic than I thought it ever would. Glad I'm not the only photographer out there.

@Mandalor: I've always liked/liked shooting macro images of grass like that. I like to think it often lends a "jungle" atmosphere to the shot.

@Pr@3tor: Awesome solar shots! If that was your first attempt, I'm sure you'll be an expert in no time.

Here's one I took recently. I could pretend I took it in just one shot like the other two I uploaded, but I probably had over 100 shots to get this one picture. It's currently my monitor desktop. Warning, large image, as always.

it when it had already hatched.

Both Dragonfly pics where taken with my old camera , so quality isn't that great..

Here is a shot of this strange streak of ray that crossed some metal. Kinda felt like some digital art but it's actually a real photo. The other photo is from a country side view of the countryside of Cuba. The carribian is a wonderfull place to get shots. Might as well find my Bohemian photos

Lots of water coming into the gorge after the heavy rains from the days before.
