Thanks Bier! Almost hard not to -- that entire area out there is just beautiful.

Here's one of the stars in the middle of Utah. Quite a change from the view from the city! So many of them that I couldn't find the major constellations. This is the direction of the Milky Way; if you squint just right and use your imagination, you can almost see it.

Over here we have so much ambient light we never see most
of the stars anymore :( :(

That's how it is around where I'm from. But, sometimes if you drive far enough, you can find an isolated spot without any light and few trees to have a look at them.

Here's one more from that same spot; the shooting stars were everywhere that night.
