IE 11 anyone

Post by Echo »

I've been using the Developer Preview of IE11 for a few days. It seems faster than IE 10. Reading some reviews, it is supposed to be "safer" but only time will tell.

If you'd like to try it, the download is here.

Pick your language/version and it will start the download.

And then I started seeing: everywhere I looked, everywhere I looked, all these f###ing pricks, everywhere I looked, doing the exact same f###ing thing... over and over and over and over again thinking: "This time, it's gonna be different; no, no, no, no, no, please.. This time it's gonna be different."

I've always had problems with IE for some time. I just stick with mozilla or Chrome. I need to get this link to my mom who uses IE
Thanks Echo

Just saying. I'm not an IE fan either. Was a Firefox guy until the one update deleted all of my history, bookmarks, and cookies. Switched to Chrome, and that's where I'm staying.

Did use Safari for a whole lot of years, but that was a Mac only thing.

Chrome>Firefox>Safari>IE

Anyone got experience with Opera?

I still use Chrome for "important" stuff but, lately, it's memory management has been lacking. I don't think Google enforces any kind of requirement that add-ons, plugins, etc have to adhere to any type of clean coding.

The amount of RAM that Chrome is using lately (~10 tabs) is crazy.

No browser is perfect or ever will be.

Same thoughts about all these add ons and pop ups. I don't happen t o get so much pop ups when I used to use IE. Now whenever I go on the ASH forums using Chrome I get a pop up one the right side of the screen talking about halo products  Whyyyyy!!!!!!

I'll see how this update goes for IE before switching.

Post a screenshot of the pop-up window in another thread. It may not be benign.
