Hi there,
I know I'm new here, so I don't want to repeat posts. But, the other day, a few of us were on a map, not going to say which, as not to bring any dismay, that's for the Admin to do, but a bunch of us were kicked from the server. When I checked my personal logs, there was a loopback IP, that mirrored my own.
So, to help those that fear this, I would like to provide this link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/peerblock/?source=pdlp
It's a light and powerful application that allows you to monitor and block IP's that come into your home. However, it works automatically, and there is relatively no configuration for newer users.
Othewise, you can always just go to your command prompt, and type in: cmd, then type netstat -a.
Again, don't want to sound too new. Just trying to help.

Re: PeerBlock
Thanks for the info. use to have this installed but didn't think it did anything. I'll give it another try.
Re: PeerBlock
Yeah, it does work. I had to stop it for a bit until I can remember how to add exceptions. It, by default, blocks Xfire and TS3.
So, I have to figure it out.

When you do let me know. It blocks halo servers so I can't join games or see who's online when it's active.Nushi wrote:Yeah, it does work. I had to stop it for a bit until I can remember how to add exceptions. It, by default, blocks Xfire and TS3.
