Just saw this. Does this correspond to Halo Gamespy Lobby? I looked at that page and was confused and unable to interpret it

Re: End of Gamespy Halo Lobby?
The lobby for both pc and ce will most likely go down when this takes place ._.
People will still be able to join servers through direct ip but it's not as convenient and not everyone is smart enough to do this (or smart enough to look on gametracker for the server ip's). What this means is that halo activity will possibly stay the same for a month or two after the lobby goes down but halo multiplayer will most likely be dead by the end of this year.

Re: End of Gamespy Halo Lobby?
What I'd suggest is start adding all the halo servers
you even remotely like to your xfire favorites and use xfire to connect.
or will it show up on steam?

Make sure you thank the bastards that bought GameSpy.

Perhaps Glu's intent was to shut them down in the first place, perhaps it was an epicA§H»Crash wrote:Make sure you thank the bastards that bought GameSpy.
blunder and a waste of money.
Steamworks dominates the market so completely at this point that Glu had no profit motive
to even try to swim upstream... They knew that fact when they purchased Gamespy.
But either way you look at it, Gamespy was in competition for nobody anymore.
