Re: Why AMD Is Inferior:

I didn't say it would. And in all honesty, if I could only spend $800 I'd go for the 8350, it's brilliant. There was another point to this topic, I needed to improve a writing style. This entire thread is why Intel is overall better and why you should never buy AMD for any reason because Intel is a...

Re: Why AMD Is Inferior:

I expected nothing less, to be honest. 1). Single Thread Applications: Intel has always prided themselves on performing brilliantly for almost everything, most things utilize only one thread at a time. AMD has focused primarily towards the gaming crowd with the FX-8350 whilst Intel has attempted to ...

Re: SSD vs HDD

You remove screws and then put them on the solid state drive and into the laptop. I'm not even kidding when I say you'd have to be a baboon to screw it up. Transferring the OS is also as simple as downloading the program that comes with the solid state drive, plugging it in via USB tools the SSD com...

Re: SSD vs HDD

For laptops, a solid state drive is one of the largest upgrades you can get. People will easily trade a small SSD over a 1TB HDD. With a 5,400RPM HDD, I'd get a SSD. That's slow, bro, an SSD is fast. Personally though I would get the stock hard drive and buy a larger SSD. http://www.newegg.com/Produ...

Re: Time for a new PC.

Oh yea, and I'm running the Sapphire HD 7870 along with an FX-8350. I haven't put either under much load, but CoD4 ran like a dream, and as soon as I left the game and checked temps, the FX wasn't even 30C, lol. I need a new monitor though because this one is shit. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/...

Re: Time for a new PC.

Performance favors the 3470, but it's insignificant for the $20. You may as well buy a 3570k if you're OK with going up to $900. Currently, no games bottleneck under the i5-3570k, so you may as well. Also, to cut on the price a little, here are two other options for the video card. http://www.centre...
