Just saying. I'm not an IE fan either. Was a Firefox guy until the one update deleted all of my history, bookmarks, and cookies. Switched to Chrome, and that's where I'm staying.

Did use Safari for a whole lot of years, but that was a Mac only thing.

Chrome>Firefox>Safari>IE

Anyone got experience with Opera?

Recently switched from firefox to Opera. Was getting too much ad spam with firefox and it's a memory hog. I'm really liking Opera so far, it's fast doesn't use much memory and blocks ads/spam. :thunbsup

After what happened with Chrome recently, I might just have to switch to Opera.

Chrome just updated to the latest version not too long ago. With it came some "improvements" to the omnibox, which included larger text and a big pointless white space to the left of the suggested URL's when typing. That's all formatting stuff I can live with.

My problem is that it appears that cookies are no longer saving or aren't able to be used. I have to sign into websites that I have clicked "remember me" again and again, multiple times a day.

I'm sure I'm just missing a checkbox somewhere in the settings, but does anyone have a clue what's going on here?

Chrome keeps crashing, I switched back to Firefox.

Maxthon is a great browser though.

While I still like Chrome, I tend to agree that it's getting more cumbersome as the updates progress.

Chrome is an ok browser but for me it would crash often, and my shortcuts menu would randomly change and disappear at times which was annoying.
Maxthon is a great browser too. I'll use it at my college with my flash drive when I use their computers to access the internet. Very fast and easy to use browser.
Still liking Opera as my everyday browser very fast, and with the Adblock extension installed I never see spam on the screen. So far hasn't had one crash or issue that I use to have with Chrome and Firefox.

I still use Chrome for "important" stuff but, lately, it's memory management has been lacking. I don't think Google enforces any kind of requirement that add-ons, plugins, etc have to adhere to any type of clean coding..

Same thoughts about all these add ons and pop ups. I don't happen t o get so much pop ups when I used to use IE. Now whenever I go on the A§H forums using Chrome I get a pop up one the right side of the screen talking about halo products Whyyyyy!!!!!!

I'll see how this update goes for IE before switching.

Mandalor use adblocker for chrome its the best thing since sliced bread it blocks all ads and even those annnoying youtube video ads

IE will always forever be tainted in my eyes. I'd have to be stuck with an Windows 8 RT tablet to use it.

Far as browsing goes I just switched back over to Firefox. Chrome is nice and simple but that's all it has. Firefox has better addons, and working addons. ABP works on Firefox, but not Chrome.

Between the two if you want simplicity and a reliable browser then definitely I'd go with Opera. It's fast you get no ads(with AdBlocker), and haven't had a single crash issue yet with it. Use to get a crash about once a day with firefox. I'm also liking the iphone app for Opera also. :thunbsup
