Decided finally to fill out the app and try and join this fine community.
Not sure if I'm 'sposed to add the '«A»' here or not or how to if I am.

Welcome to the forums, the «A» will be added to your name in when your application has reached a particular stage.

I think that stage is when one becomes an applicant. IIRC
