My latest build (needed something to do when I couldn't play Halo). Custom Carl Gustav 63 (CG63) international match rifle in 6.5x55... Modernised. Hart barrel @28", bold trigger at just under 1.1lbs (still tuning) Barrel and actioned trued, lapped rings on a custom bedded 20moa rail. The metal was all Ceracoted armor black and I redid the stock. Scope is a Vortex Viper PA 6.5-20x50mm with a mildot reticle. Still developing loads. Yes I roll my own ammo! lol.
English please

That's an absolutely beautiful build! What's the twist of that Hart? I'm interested to hear what loads you'll have the best success with. You'll have to keep us up to date on the range data and what matches you're competing in! F class has intrigued me, I'd like to hear a firsthand account from you sometime.

Do you build often, or was this just a project you undertook because you were cooped up inside due to the weather or something? You know exactly what you're doing, so I'd guess it's the former. Either way, keep the good stuff coming!

The barrel is an 8.5 twist. Should be able to stabilise up to 160gr bullets, but I use 140gr in matches. This is my 3rd build. I've been competing on-and-off for the last 20 years. I'm a gunsmith as well but I don't have a milling machine to do complete custom builds. I bring stuff like this to my mentor/trainer/friend/gunsmith as he's been doing it for about 35 years. He also has all the tools for custom builds. :thumbsup I'll start a thread in the off-topic once I start getting serious about the load developement. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks. Still trying to source a good supply of smokeless powder up here.
