I just ran one and got 16 and 10 from campus. I'd post a pic but I'd expose where I really am, and that's not something I want to do currently.

The prophesies speak of a new, high speed fiber network coming to where I am with rumored speeds close to 100 MBPS both ways, but I'm guessing it'll be closer to 60. We can hope, though.

We can all dream of google fiber. Does anyone live in any of the three cities that it's in right now?

I'd kill to have 1000MBPS down and up speeds.

It would be nice to have that but it wouldn't do you much good considering that there probably isn't many servers that can upload anywhere close to that speed.


When I was in high school I went to a career tech center and I tried downloading a game on steam to see how fast it would go. On a slow day the download speed was like 180Mb/s-200Mb/s ._.

I find that speed fast!!! Holy cow. Even if I were to get 1 megabite a second Id be happy. I'm at my house and on a lucky day I might get 150 kbs a second. I can't even play Garry's mod that well. At my friends house yesterday he was getting 2.3 MBS and it was impressive :O My Internet is darn to slow.
