That's because of the fact that Halo CE's been taken over by a majority of Spanish-speaking players, and there's little to no info explaining, in Spanish, how to install custom maps. Such a pity.

That's becuase Pirated copies of the game can't update. While there may be thousands of players in 1.00, most pirates are also the cheating undergrowth of society, like you can't go a game without 2 or 3 bots/wallhacks/ect...

I remember when their used to be 800 servers on PC.. and now theirs only 300.

Sadly, times are changing. I was talking to a guy earlier that was in =CE= about 2006-2007, and from what he reminded me, Halo's community ain't what it used to be.

It's definitely not the same from the first months I was in POQ.

BUT, no Halo clan should let that kill Halo CE for good, you all just have to give a good reason to play it. Scheduled events where clanmates play together and chat on teamspeak has been one of my favorite times playing Halo.
