I will be moving all of our Halo servers to new locations with better service between Dec. 6th and Dec. 8th. This means any of our servers may go down due to migration because I simply can't wait for them all to empty out.

This migration will provide us better service, lower costs, and quality game play. If you have any questions please reply, thanks!

Wait, will they ALL be down for 3 days?

No. I'll be temporarily bringing down one or few at a time to migrate them to our new host. I'm just not going to announce when I am and won't stop whether or not the server is full. I can't wait all night for it to die, we're just too popular

They're all getting an IP change, and are either going to New York, NY, or Dallas, TX. The migration will be done before Dec. 8th, because that's when our billing cycle ends with GS.com.

Members Only and Blood Gulch (#0 and #1) are done, go check them out. Let me know if there are any problems.

For the admins will the rcon be the same ?

I hope the new server locations have improved safety on the maps, I was playing Death island and noticed the grass was very long, I think I stood in dog poo under a tree too, and the top of red and blue base need some sort of safety rail, you could fall and hurt your self.

We're holding off on #3, #5, and #7 for the sake of traffic, but tomorrow they're all going down alongside the rest of our server fleet whether they're full or not. Sorry ... we have to make this migration before Saturday morning or there's going to be a lot of unhappy Halo players/pirates LOL.

I'm glad that the servers are being moved, since my ping used to jump around a bit, thanks crash and I hope it works out well.
