I've loved music since I was born (as have most of you I presume), but only in the past 4-5 years have I payed any attention to the lyrics. Some of them speak very deeply to me, others, not so much. I'm wondering, is there any single lyric that means a great deal to you? If so, please, share it with us.

Spec I'll be first to say my single lyric that means a lot to me is:
"It's a long road when your on your on"
The lyric is from the son 'It's a long road', a song featured in the film First Blood. Basically if you've seen Rambo, it's about Rambo trying to fit into society. Great film. Great lyric.

Oh gosh. I know so many awesome lyrics that hit close to home. There's no way I could pick just one. I could have a whole thread about this and post one everyday and still not be able to write them all down.

There's bound to be others, but the only one I can think of right now is 'True perfection has to be imperfect' from Oasis' song, Little by Little.
