I'm a pretty avid reader and enjoy to read tons of books. At the beach occasionally Ill bring a book to read. So I thought I'd post up this poll to see everyone's favorite book genre Personally I enjoy sci-fi and thrillers. If you'd like post up some of your reasons or thoughts.

The Silmarillion, Lord of the Rings stuff like that.


And Jack Vance...

I like to read Sci-Fi books primarily. Currently I'm reading as many Stargate books as I can get my hands on. Fantasy is good too, but I tend to be biased towards one world setting (Forgotten Realms), so don't read a lot of fantasy for that reason.

As a scientist, I have to be up to date with current literature on whatever it is I'm researching. Scientific journals and stuff fall under non-fiction, so I guess I enjoy that.

But as for some of my favorite titles:
The Davince Code (Dan Brown)
Ender's Game (Orson Scott Card)
Anthem (Ayn Rand)
My Ishmael (Daniel Quinn)

Props to any of you who have read any of these!

Interesting you guys!!! Fantasy, Science Journals, Lord of the Rings, Stargate!!! Wow this is fascinating. I'll have to grab my hands on a couple of these books! Enders Game is a super favorite of mine!!! Thanks for voting!

There's a big mistake in your poll...."historical" is missing , so I had to choose Fantasy.....
But everyone knows the LOTR really happened, YES THEY DID NAH NAH NAH NAH i'M NOT LISTENING

If you haven't read The Lord of The Rings but have seen the movie's , you'll be in for a surprise
Although I really like the PJ movie's , they have some strong flaws, some made me a bit ill when I saw them first.... the ending part in particular, he really messed that up
