Not sure if it was a virus, but I ran some scan and fix thingy on my kaspersky, ran dxdiag and there it was, 32 bit DX draw settings enabled! Just re-installed Halo and it's working

Nice! Yes this old game of ours does run into trouble from time to time. Regrettably I recently updated Windows 8 to 8.1. Big mistake, it was causing BSOD's to occur when playing halo. Had to rollback to an old intel graphics driver to fix the problem. The latest version caused the problem with 8.1.

I'm facing a heck load of problems with halo I know how ya felt. But it's glad to see ya back in action Gonna have to xfire ya
