Wired vs wireless internet what do you use.
Wired can be much faster but wireless is so convenient.


Herm i use both. So what one do you use more?

Cat 7 for me and cat 6.

I use wireless the most. I don't mind using it behind a home network or on other encrypted networks. When I go into public/open networks with wireless I try to use vpns.

Wireless. Can't get close enough to wired. I'd need like a 200 yard cable, lol.

The router is sitting on a CAT 6, though.

I'm wireless hence my terrible internet speed is worse then what it would be had I gone wired.

BlackBerry: Wirless @ 2.4GHz

I hard wired my entire home. Every room has a port. My office and my wifes offices have 5 wall ports each and 1.5 inch conduit in the wall to run cords through. I keep printers and other external devices in a closet and the cable don't get strung out everywhere.

All portable devices are obviously wireless.

Only wired since w-lan lags too much. What cable...no idea.
