Do you keep track of text/words on your servers?
hope you think about making it a serial code ban instead of only i.p.

I'd guess that almost every clan doesn't allow people recruiting for another clan while in their servers.


Also, we typically don't hash ban because a lot of people use the same cd-key meaning if we hash ban someone the chances are a lot more people will get banned as well. If someone keeps coming back after an ip ban we can always ban their subnet to keep them out of the servers.

People continue to do it even though its frowned upon by many clans for the purpose that other players hate it when people try to recruit in their servers. I believe it can cause server traffic to stop as well. People don't want to hear the "Join ____ Clan because its better than this clan." They want a player friendly environment where there is no recruiting. Cussing is another big no no put up by many clans. Our servers especially. We want our servers to be a player friendly environment

It is disrespectful to recruit in others servers. Also we should respect a leaders decisions even if you don't believe in them.

Course you can be banned for that, you are taking away possible recruits for a clan that host the server you're playing in, we host the server for user enjoyment and to get new members to increase the clan, not increase other clans..
