So my friend's business is retiring some hardware. He has 10 rack-mount servers.
He offered me one!
I'm thinking I'll use it for distributed compiling of software in my house and on my network,
for multiple Linux machines and a couple of FreeBSD boxes. (keeping it powered off 90% of the time)
