Working in IT, I rarely take a vacation but the last time I did, we visited some friends in St. Augustine, FL. Great place to visit.

Where do you go for vacation - Bermuda, Yellowstone, NY City?

Actually I live in a tourist state so I just visit the beaches Miami, Grayton Beach, East Coast of Florida, Bahamas a couple of years ago. But I don't like to vacation that much within the U.S. The West does interest me but I've never actually headed in that direction at all. North Carolina during the Winter and the beaches in the summer. That's how I roll! Yet I'm not a big fan of trips.

I'll gladly discuss specifics with anyone interested, especially if you're interested in going to the same place. I can offer suggestions on what to and not to do. Plus, I like sharing pictues.

Going to travel to Helsinki and Joensuu, Finland in April.
Been in Poland a lot in the last few years - Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Poznan and we had a canoe trip in Masuria. Also last year i traveled to Budapest, Hungary.
In the past i used to travel with my dad alot so i have seen most of the european countries so far.

I usually go to the Alpine region, Southern Germany or Austria...or stay in The Netherlands and rent a place on the waters edge and fish(until the missus drags me to some "interesting" old town or something like that )

Generally I vacation on the East Coast of Australia, but I haven't been on any sort of vacation for three years now. Last year was my last chance, realistically. School is becoming a lot of work... But, where I'd like to travel is predominantly through Asia, into Russia and into Eastern-Europe.

Then somewhere different. Like mountains this year..

Since I've been living in Arizona, usually I go to areas in my region
like the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Joshua Tree and Death Valley
(I've driven to Mexico too).

When I lived in N. California (Berkeley), I went all over the place as well...
Mendocino, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe and the usual.

Last Fall (and in '04) I went on vacation to Maui for a couple of weeks.
