Some of you may not know this but xfire has a limit as to how many videos you can upload. Log into your xfire on their website, go to your profile, click manage videos, and in the paragraph on that page it will say how much room you have left for videos. Once you have that, post it here.


Mine: 4581.1/10240 MB or 4.5GB/10GB




Didn't realize I had so many videos xD

Xfire allows you to take videos of your games, store, manage and edit the videos locally on your machine, and quickly upload them to show off on your profile page. Each user is given 10240 MB of storage space on their profile for videos. You can change the titles and descriptions and share your best ones with your friends anywhere on the web. So far, you have used 7424.6/10240 MB.

Since we video tape for evidence, I have a solution. If you ever do reach the limit, delete all your oldest evidence videos. I noticed that we had some bots that we'd caught that had broken links since the videos had been deleted. I'd say that's maybe your best way.

I don't think we should delete the videos. Xfire creates all of the videos as .avi files in which can be played on your computer; if you go into your xfire software, and then into the videos section, left click on any video and choose the option "Open Directory". This takes you to the folder in which your videos are stored. You can then manually take these videos and upload them to a different video hosting site to share the videos with others so that we are not deleting videos.

You do know that before xfire encodes those avi videos that there several hundred MB and sometimes they can be a GB or two.

Oh wow my bad xd I didn't think of that. But eh a proven botter is a proven botter! ;p So what is the best alternative? Moving them to a different site and then rediting all your posts? That sounds like a lot of work.

I saw the size difference when I delete the vids off my computer. They take to much space.

Yes, though you clan always downsize the files in any video editing software.

Yes but not everyone can or wants to take the time to do that, especially when they have hundreds of videos.

Ill just make a new xfire.
