Have any of you (or anyone you know personally) actually given money to the cause?

Im ashamed to say that I have actually done this challenge while wearing mandys spiderman suit from when he was 6 and ended up ripping it. Looool didnt donate though

I don't plan to do this ice bucket challenge. Many of my friends have done it but luckily none have nominated me, too which I won't accept. I find this humor not to be so funny -,- I don't think people understand what is this sad disease :c

Cynical? Probably, but this is how I feel about it...

I've been nominated but I dont really see a point in doing that if i dont really have enough money to donate. my friends didnt donate either, and its not exactly raising awareness about it. i dont know how many people that do it actually donate, but without a donation there really is no point.

I did it and I donated!

I did it, didn't donate. Two of the people I nominated donated however, amongst many of my friends.

Don't get me wrong, the Ice Bucket Challenge is a good thing; many millions have been raised so far that would not have otherwise been raised... but when people use the cause to promote their album, movie, youtube channel or other non-related junk... It just makes me wonder what the real motive is.

I applaud you guys for taking part in the challenge weather it be donating or otherwise.

I agree with Jook :p its awesome that a lot has been donated and there are definitely people that do it to donate, but then there are also people who dont so im not really sure why they do it O.o
