When I got my first real PC, early 90's, I had a 4.5 G hard drive.....and was laugh at.
Who on earth, except maybe some physics buff, studying quantum physics, would EVER need 4.5 G's

Back in the early '90's I was a communication engineer and the company that I worked for had me install Sun Systems CPU and storage cabinets. The storage cabinets had rows of 1Gb hard drives in them before Gig hard drives were even heard of. It was a big secret. The company that got the systems was The Human Genome Project. They were the ones that mapped the Human Genome. Cool Eh?

Nice, just imagine you would have bet a million with your CEO that before 2013 you could store 256 Gig's on a device the size of a post stamp

Ya, it really weird how technology doubles every six months or so. Makes ya think what it's going to be like in 20 years. My Grandmother lived to be 103 years old. She witnessed technology go from horse and buggy to man walking on the moon. That just amazes me.

I am getting this card LOL, only if it has a decent price tag compared to an external hard drive haha.

Ha, I remember my old Windows 98 6 GB HDD computer from when I was in elementary school. Man, that thing was old and slow!

I still miss DOS

I remember when the 1 gb sd cards came out, it was like HOLY SH** how do you fit that?!?! and now look! technology is insane

I remember reading something about a biologic processor that was invented. If that is true then the speeds will be absolutely un-F'n-believable. The speed of a neurological signal is about 10 to the negative 12. THAT'S FAST! and it does it not by the movement of electrons but with the movement of molecules. It's a little complicated and I don't fully understand it but that is the speed that you brain processes information and sends signals through your nervous system. WAY faster then any supercomputer today.
