I just bought an HT Omega Fenix 7.1 sound card to go with my Razer Tiamat 7.1 headset but when it comes to sound stuff I'm a little lost. If anyone is like a DJ or an audiophile person or is good with sound stuff and setting it up I could use some help pls ty.

I messed around with it a bunch today and I think I pretty much got it setup and what not. 7.1 in battlefield 3 with my headset sounds amazing now.

I think it's best to work it out for yourself....my experience is that "sound" is the most personal
thing in pc/gaming set up's ..

and have never had an issue with it, others have but as for sound it kicks arse!

Razer surround is for creating a virtual 7.1 effect in headsets that don't have a physical 7.1 setup. My Razer tiamat headset is actually true 7.1 so Razer surround and my headset don't go together. My headset has 10 drivers (speakers) whereas most other headsets only have 2 (I think).

I looked into Razer surround after I bought my headset and Razer even sent me an activation key for some reason. It kinda sucks though cause Razer basically gave me a copy of surround pro and I can't even use it :p

Wasn't trying to make it sound like I was a rich snob with fancy things, just explaining why my headset won't work with Razer Surround :p


I'm not sure if I could do this but if I can I might give away the activation key that Razer sent me for Razer Surround Pro.
