Okay so, apparently there's a thing called The Second Law of Thermodynamics. Which states (to put it simply) energy will increase and disperse no matter what. So that means eventually in about (roughly estimated) 8 googol years (10^100 years) heat will be evenly spread throughout the entire planet allowing nothing to happen, because in order for something to happen energy has to change like how hot changes into cold, so that means the earth will just burn up. Which means the more we do nothing the longer our planet has to live so together we must all be lazy and do absolutely nothing to save the universe! ;D woo go science
