I've been playing on your zombie servers a lot lately, while I do like them I think it would be great if you also hosted a European server for the euro players. I'm willing to donate the full amount for the server.


Edit: I did try to host a European server but I couldn't get the phasor scripts to work, that's why I'm hoping you can host one.

As stated previously, we would be interested in looking into running a European server. Does Frankfurt, Germany work for you? Our provider only does European servers in Frankfurt unless you have a different provider you would like us to look into?

Frankfurt would work yes. London, Paris, NL etc would all be good.

Edit: I'm using Gameservers.com, but yes Frankfurt is perfectly fine

It will cost $26.00 a month to run the Frankfurt site, and we can run up to 6 Halo servers. If you donate the money, we would consider purchasing the site and setting up the servers you would like. Does this interest you, and if so, which Halo servers would you like to see?

Yes that's fine, up to 6 servers would be great although i just wanted 1 euro server I would like to see a infection server running on Combat Evolved, you have one infection server (I think its #11) that is popular but it is hosted in the US so European players have high ping. It would be great to see the same server hosted in Europe

Alright, well, I guess I would be interested in setting up a copy of Server #11 Zombies in Frankfurt if you wanted to donate $26.00 to the clan. We would run it for at least a month, to see how it works.

I will admit now, I am concerned about doing this. Adding another Zombies server thins out the amount of players that will join the two Zombie servers we already have in the United States. If/when players join the Frankfurt server, the high pings may scare them away. In fact, most of our players are Central or South Americans from Mexico, Columbia, Argentina, Panama, etc... we have most of our Halo servers in Dallas, Texas, United States to help with that.

Just be forewarned, this endeavour may only last a month if it is not as successful as our Zombie servers in Dallas.

I completely agree with what you are saying and see where you are coming from, but during the day time here I see most players in the server with 100-200 ping, so i'm guessing a fair amount of them are European. But yeah, I'll donate $26 tomorrow and you can host it for a month to see how popular it gets, thank you!

Alright, sounds good. We'll likely distinguish all of our Frankfurt servers by adding "EUROPEAN" to the end of the server names.

Keep in mind, we are able to add other servers in Frankfurt at no additional cost. The $26.00 covers up to six Halo servers at once, so if you have anymore ideas you're welcome to pitch them forth.

The clan does not give admin privileges out to anyone other than qualified Sergeants or higher ranked members. Donations are simply that: donations. You're welcome to join the clan if you would like to have admin privileges.
