Any Musicians Out There?

I have had a thing for music ever since I was a toddler. I picked up the piano at a very early age, somewhere around maybe 7 or 8 and just kinda figured out how to play simple songs on my own by ear. By age 11, I started taking my first lessons, took up classical music, migrated from style to style, genre to genre, and stopped taking lessons when I turned 20; however I still practice and play to this day. I play primarily by ear but I can also read music. Generally, when I find a song I want to play, I play that song on my phone over and over again and listen for the individual notes and play it based on what I hear and I improvise as I see fit. I actually could have been a concert pianist, but I was not into playing it that much that I wanted to make a living out of it... that and I didn't want to spend all that time practicing haha.

How about you guys?

Holy cow 37 years?! Geez I haven't even played instruments for even a few years. Apart from playing the recorder for a couple of years, I make some music directly from the computer (ex Minecraft Note blocks, Chimes and Tunes) stuff like that. Sounds cheesy but I like to make a sortav retro 80s game music. I play maracas if that's helpfull

Apart from that I can keep a beat.
And Wizard loves my singing.

Right now I'm thinking of taking up the "Mandolin" at the moment. I haven't played in quite a few years as barely know how to play a stringed instrument. Voltage I request your aid!! :p
