Unless you are referring to camping in the blood gulch caves now Enzo

Get out of there!!!

And yes it is a legit strategy, it is a legit NOOB strategy. If a given player spends any more than 5% of a game not pursuing the flag and instead just trying to pick people off they fall within the NOOB category if you ask me.
All KINDS of false. What would it look like is all 16 people went for each other's flag? Leaves absolutely no one for defense, assault, or support. Actually GETTING the flag is just one aspect of CTF. You NEED people to stay at the base (or near it) for defense. You NEED people near the middle of the map to kill people and control key points of the map, you NEED people to go with you for the sole purpose of assault and covering your butt when you grab the flag, and you NEED people to provide cover fire and support when, and if, you leave the base with it. Without at least one of those factors, you won't score. I do all the above.
You have a point in there Voltage. Everyone is right in the topic since this is all based on different points of view on what is right, and what is wrong. But I don't mean to criticize you but if half your team is couph Spanish players, they are going to get killed midfield and mostly camp at the base waiting for the ending. Lol not to be racist but it has happened enouph times.
But for real I agree in a sense that someone can camp, if they are guarding the entrance to the road to the base. When I say that I mean infinity. That map was soooo much fun

Basically like 4 of us would go one way, 4 of us would go another way, 2 of us would go underneath and take the longer path, and 2 people would guard the roads to the base. In that case I kinda find it fair since.... its Infinity for gods sake!!!! It's fun.
And in some games Voltage that I've played in, literally you will see like 7 reds launching caravans and attacks at the blue team. It's so crazy and it's thrilling cuz you watch as one by one..... They all get torn apart!!!! WUHAHAHAHA!!!!
In any game, there are many ways to get to the enemy place. It's not like everyone's going to go the same way and get chopped off now...... hehe. In games Spartans get killed, spawn back at base, and soon enouph theyre far from where his partners were. They've already got the flag. So all he has to do is catch up and provide fire (like you said). If I sound confusing forgive me.

I believe in both kills, especially assists. But flag captures are important too.
@Elbarto kelly and I have played and sometimes it'll be just him, I, maybe 4 other guys, and a couple of afks. He still manages to get flags and a couple of kills and a good kdr. It's not like I camp! Only if Enzos in the cave. We don't need campers to score. You just need people to rally to your flag escape which is what Voltage was saying. I've gotten the flag myself at times against the odds. Ive scored a flag even when practically my team is AfK or terrible

I believe in luck when it comes to flag scoring. I dont need no campers Barto!!!!
I mean we all have our playing style and if we're good at it, then that's what counts.
This has been turning into a heated debate, but if it's gonna get on everyone's nerves we might as well lock it. I was just validating WillRoks point of view and saying it was in a wiki topic.
I kinda like the different points of views and ideas so far. Play on
