I lowered all my rendering down. I believe quality as we'll.

Re: DayZ
Lowering antialiasing will give a big FPS boost. You can disable it, but the game will look like crap.A§H»Mandalor wrote:I lowered all my rendering down. I believe quality as we'll.

Here's a decent video that explains things you can do to boost FPS. -winxp in the startup options line doesn't work anymore for most, and will crash your game.

Re: DayZ
the graphics for this game are amazing o.O can't imagine the time and work the artists have put into the decoration of Day Z. It takes days just to make one building so just think about the immense amount of detail they work for.

Re: DayZ
Was playing last night with a friend, and we encounter a couple of friendly kids in Berezino. We showed them the way to NEAF then the new large city of Novo in the north. Because I try to play as a good guy I had to constantly tell my friend that we couldn't kill them. When we got to Novo, we released the kids to have fun in the city. At that point it seemed more sporting and fair to hunt them
With my mosin/LRS, I went to the north hills to find them while my buddy scoured the streets. I finally found them atop that 20 or so story spire building in the middle of the city. My buddy went up to the top to talk with them while I hunkered down for a sniper shot about 400 meters out. Couldn't get the bullet drop right and missed my shots. My pal tried to play it off that they were under attack by an unknown force
Eventually they realized we were the only ones on the server. With my scope, I watched as one of them bashed my friend's head with a machete. He survived to kill the guy, but the other one got him. It took about 20 minutes of camping the hill, but I eventually avenged him when the remaining guy finally poked his head out from the top level next to the spire.
After, they sent us friend request on steam trying to figure out what happened. So, we're going to meet up another time and try it again
They were good sports about it chalking it up to DayZ Blood Lust.
