Alright, so first off I've been making and uploading videos since 06' More seriously since around February 4th 2012
If you want to start a youtube channel, want help or criticism, this is one of the places you can receive constructive criticism and help.
Rules? Yus
Don't post your channel in the interest of getting Views N Subs... Thats not the purpose here, sure we can sub if we think your content is good, but don't get mad if someone critiques your content and doesn't sub.
Also this is the place for constructive criticism, not insults... Don't be that guy.

I have witnessed a serious crime. I completely am against self advertising on other people's channels because they worked hard for their subscribers so you shouldn't be advertising on their channel. I feel that it's a cheap way to get subs quick and fast. So one day I was on the wonderful world of YouTube when I saw this girl who started her channel that same day. She had already uploaded one video and I found her by her comments on tons of peoples videos. I checked back on her channel 3 days later and she had over 300 subscribers. This all took place about 2 weeks ago so I decided to check back again and she has 566 subscribers. I just feel like it's unfair for people that have been doing YouTube for several years and yet they have way less of a subscriber count.

Yeah, I agree Greenmoon, thats one of the worst things ever, when people basically cheat and steal for subs... I saw a guy with about 6K subs and around 30-40 videos, all views and subs were pretty much just gained through advertising his channel... Its really disgusting
