I'm sure they are much different in in a Constitutional Republic and a constitutional monarchy.
With politics and labels in general, theories aren't always universal.

I am well aware of differences of party function within differing political systems, thank you. I am probably one of the most politically literate people here, if not the most.

I'm not a registered voter myself but I feel inclined to side mostly Democrat since I find myself liberal. Though I like to see what candidates offer and I like to research. I have on occasions though told my Mom to vote Republican since I like what some candidate have done. The Mayor of my town is a Republican and he's a swell guy. He's been there for my family with aid. And the Sheriff gets the job done :p I guess I could be considered Independent in that retrospective.

I believe in different situations different approaches can lead to more advantageous gains. That's why we have a party system. ^^

I really hate these bipartisan based tests though, and how our government system works right now. There are many different opinions that don't fit into the two categories, looking at it with a black-and-white viewpoint is unhealthy.
