I'm still not going to pre-order, but I do have high hopes for GTAV.

Console games aren't always good at transferring to the PC world.

This certainly is true for a lot of console-to-PC games, however, I did hear that GTAV is not going to be a straight port. It was developed along side the console, but as a true PC game. Of course, take that with a grain of salt. I'll wait until the reviews are in.

If I decide its in my budget (not sure since I'm planning on starting to save for college and might need to upgrade my PC soon) then I'll be the canary in the coal-mine, and I'll let you guys know if its any good.
And don't worry, I'll be harsh on it, as I'm already raging at Farcry 4, even though its a good game it feels like a mix between a Windows 8 port and a console port. (Slightly off topic on my part, but eh, just so ya know)

I've played it on both...if the new one is good on PC then fair enough, but it has not been my experience.
Trust me, I am 99.9% PC.

Maybe, but I only have a 360, and it doesn't have live,
so I'm gonna have to roll PC on this one.
