Hey guys!
I just wrote something really personal in my public blog that mentions my online friends a little bit.
You can find it here>>https://paulanderaos.wordpress.com/2015 ... e-by-love/
To expand on it a little. I have really started to enjoy myself in this clan within the last 2-3 weeks. Some really good friendships have started to develope, and I feel really appreciated by a lot of you. It's the little things that you guys do that make me feel really special here. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly into the clan, for inviting me to games, for letting me be goofy in Team Speak, and for letting me have a position in the clan to shine.
Even though a lot of you are pretty new friends to me, I truly appreciate you guys. :]

Re: A Look Inside- Writing
Here we are; drifted apart blinded by hopefulness and complacency
By believing in untried love, assured we were meant to be
Standing in a vast void, absent of warmth and light
No strength to stand, no will to fight
As a vacant house tells tales of past life with crop circles left in the carpet by furniture
As are we, standing in room filled with nothing awaiting loves departure
Awaiting the emptiness that comes with knowing someone you once knew
Knowing that as you cross paths your eyes see through
The empty shell that was once filled with hope
Hope for a future, for forgotten affection
As you stand still while things fly in every direction
Your heart beats slow, your skin turns cold
Devoid of the warm breath, of the one you used to hold
As the continents drift apart at a pace so minute
As our eyes scream in pain, yet our lips stay mute
As a boat drifts helplessly at the mercy of the tide
What is becomes what was, in the fog of doubt, it hides
As the feather dances with uncertainty in the wind
So are we.
When was the feeling of ecstasy that simply arose from a soft touch and a kind word
Replaced with tolerance from feelings unvoiced, cries unheard
What was once a few shed tears has become a drop in the ocean
Estuaries of emotional heartache, where there were once peaceful rivers giving life through devotion
Standing in the desert and wishing for rain, because of lack thereof
So here we stand, stumbling, falling out of love
Something I drummed up in about 20 minutes or so. I used to write a lot, but now I only write every once in a blue moon when I feel the urge or inspiration.

Those were very personal things you chose to share with us Shine.
I am honored that you chose to do so. It's great that you've gotten past that troubled time in your life!

Re: A Look Inside- Writing
I got back from a camp this week, and I painted a picture for the first time in at least 5 years while there. At our church, while we worship we express ourselves in different arts, one of which being painting. And so as I saw the first worship session being set-up with the paint aisles, something inside of me just wanted to paint... but like I said, it has been a LONG time. And so now I find myself having dreams of pictures that I want to paint. But I only having drawing utensils.
So although this thread has previously been used for expressive my creative writings, in this post I will use it to express my creative drawings, and a picture that I took at the camp also.

Edit*
There are some other pictures that I just decided to share with yall that are from recent times. I haven't been gaming as much (largely because my Halo isn't working, and so my leading passion is lost), and so I want to share with yall what I have been up to.

^2 nights after camp, I had a dream that turned out to be this picture. The picture only came together when I started to draw it. I had a friend attempt to interpret it. He got 'salvation' from it.

^Me.

^Hiking with my friend at camp.

^My painting. You can't see the words in the black area, but they're as follows 'hate', 'die', 'forgotten', 'cut', 'unworthy', 'idiot'.

^In my hiking adventure, we stumbled upon some neat items. Here are just a few that I kept. We found a feather on the trail, and abandoned trailer where I got a rusty cast iron skillet, and then proceeded to hack off the doorbell emblem with the skilet. I found a strip of a drug rug hoodie. We found an outhouse, and took all but a couple sheets of the toilet paper.

Re: A Look Inside- Writing
Today is my dad's birthday! So I challenged myself to write a poem for him.
My Dad, 1 Year Younger today!
Happy birthday!
Dad, today I remember and think about who you have been to me and all that we have done together.
Dad, looking back last year at your birthday posts, I am reminded that you're a modern day Benjamin Button, growing younger not older.
Dad, growing up you have been a symbol of what faith looks like without tear and whither.
Dad, when I think about you my heart becomes warm despite the weather that is getting colder.
Dad, I sincerely admire our conversations because you have been instrumental in making me wiser.
Dad, never forget I am here for you when you need a shoulder.
Dad, I get a lot from you including this gift of being a writer.
Dad, leaving you was hard, but whenever I come see you it looks like we have grown closer.
Dad, because of you I learned how to have adventures and become a biker.
Dad, thank you for always being clean without odor.
Dad, I don't know how we would have made it if you had not killed all those spiders.
Dad, when my world is crazy and heavy I know I can call you and the world begins to turn slower.

Thanks! :] I think that I have a lot to improve on when it comes to poetry, but I appreciate all the encouragement you give me!
