I've used programs like that before. The idea is pretty old. It works very well for some people, but for others it's really bad. My only advice would be: Be VERY careful what applications you put on your PC. If you find something that is free...you get what you pay for.

I had something like this in the past and it gave me a major virus, that was so bad it caused my computer to not be able to connect to the router for internet. Just beware.

I don't find this program useful at all, it says it is supposed to improve performance, but all it really does is decrease the priorities of other processes, which can make windows itself run very slowly, so I guess some people have better experiences than others.

You're absolutely right. The premise is that it makes the game run more efficiently but what it really does is mess with Windows. Almost all of a games processes are performed in the video card any way, and this software and others like it, can't change that.

That's exactly why I'm getting a computer with a 1gb superclocked nvidia GTX 650 card, no software can improve your graphics card so might as well xD
