I wouldn't know, haven't been hit for a while. Been staying in the back woods. Was playing tonight and in sight of the north west airfield then weekly maintenance happened...A§H»Mandalor wrote:@Xoth I know that if you take enough damage ad loss of blood, you have blurry vision for a while. That's normal. We have this weird blurry glitch.

Re: DayZ
@Xoth. I tried out DayZ with my new computer, and I put everything on Ultra. I was running with about 30 fps in the woods and 10 fps in cities ._. This game is badly optimized >:c
It's not even as good as I thought it was gonna be xd It's good but the graphics were like anticlimactic.

Re: DayZ
The game uses mostly CPU. If you have a great processor with + 3.4 GHz that'll go a long way to decent fps. You'll also want to overclock if you can get away with it to 4 or more GHz. Otherwise yeah, fps is going to be terrible now because the lack of current game optimization and a decent renderer. Basically there's only an elite few that get playable fps now.A§H»Mandalor wrote:@Xoth. I tried out DayZ with my new computer, and I put everything on Ultra. When the developers complete the implementation of the new render engine which gets us away from the Arma II engine, then things will improve fps wise immensely. Until then if you're looking for fps play ability, then I would suggest playing a different game for the time being, because you're just not going to get it with DayZ.

Tucker! You take that biology plant class and you decided to eat an earthworm! I've ate plenty of things when I'm close to starving like human meat, that dishwasher soap, rotten fruits, contaminated water, sour milk. Ah good times.A§H»Tucker wrote:I tried to farm once. On a brighter note, just go to a fountain and drink as much as you can. I believe by vomiting after several tries at the fountain, you throw up whatever sickness you just ate, if that makes sense. I had been starving once and drank that detergent, ran about a couple of miles to the nearest town, and still survived by drinking at the fountain until I vomited.
