In the words of Darth Vader, ''NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO''
But seriously, this has me fairly worried. Original trilogy was fine filmmaking. Prequel trilogy was an obvious cash grab. Sequel trilogy is almost surely another cash grab. I guess it depends on who they get to direct it.
haha, of course its a cash grab. diseny dosent get involved in anything but. (Marvel anyone?)
i'm really not that worried about them messing up the first 6, especially the original 3, because fans probably wouldnt accept anyone but the original actors for their roles. Mainly Han Solo. unless harrison ford is going to be fighting stormtroopers at age 70, maybe he can be like an alliance elder? i dunno.
maybe it will be about the original characters kids. thats some seriously complex and lengthy stuff, perfect for a movie.
all i know is that its being directed by george lucas' protege because he swore he would never direct another star wars, but lucas made scripts for like 6 episodes after return of the jedi, so she just has to take those scripts tweak them a bit and find an all new cast. it better not be animated.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” - Marianne Williamson, 'A Return To Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles'
