Virginia....I used up all the windshield wiper fluid in an hour and a half or something insane with this horde of medium sized bat creatures smacking into the glass.
THEN we had to stop... get out...put in windshield wiper fluid....and gas... in the middle of that.
That....was comical. And terrifying. ( long hair )





And yes,Crash, I am aware of where they are coming out this year..and where they are not. I plan accordingly. There are a few years left before they come out where I live. Millions of them. For 6 weeks.

Did you know if they get stuck to you ( or in your hair ) they click and buzz?

You will. Even a fairly normal guy I was out with ... the last time they were here..camping type..not afraid of very much..kind of lost his cool shaking them off his hand after he picked one up that the cat they had at the time..had one of the first ones to come out ..in his mouth.

P.S. Theyre attracted to motors..like lawn mowers...they swarm.( Not that they dont anyway just for showing up.. but an even more catastrophic kind of swarm.

Oh come on, those cicadas aren't that bad! And yes, I know how bad they get. Been rolling down the interstate at highway speeds and can't hear the radio over the buzzing coming from the trees. You wake up in the morning and there's inches of dead ones underneath the streetlamp outside. Last time the cycle hit I was at Kings Island in Cincinnati, lol. Was quite the interesting experience trying to dodge them on the roller coasters.

But don't worry! They're harmless little guys that just make a lot of racket. I used to like collecting the shells on my shirt when I was a kid. The only thing you have to watch out for are the cicada killers that increase in numbers when the cicadas hit. Those guys are nasty.
