Night time maps?

How hard would it be to mod some maps to look like night time?

Actually no, ive made one before. I made a Nightgulch map where nightvision on sniper rifles were very useful and all the flash lights and vehicle headlights were brighter then usual to not take the fun out of night time away. I know you take the Sky bitmap from Gerphyobia and modify all the other skins for the scenery and such. its not too hard. simple as extract tags and import tags into the map, and douse everything in black then modify light sources using Eschanton. I believe you need a plugin for that tho.

The ragequitting mod was pretty much made to mock zombies and humans in Zombie infection games while in ZA. This mod is done by modding the UI.map (all the text in the game) no skinning buttons or anything required.

It's possible, actually. But the only way it can work, is if everyone whos playing on it owns the map.

We could offer the maps on site so that it would work. I know I had most of the OTH maps when I played there servers for a while used organic to autoload them so it was easy when going to their servers. They had a night BG and Sidewinder both with many new aspects to many to even at times. Mixing it up and adding new twists always is good in my book.

The only problem in modding the looks of an halo pc map is that everyone has to have the english version of halo. People from other countries may have problems with seeing those mods.
I know that we tried it in my last clan and it screwed the map up for me since i have a german halo.

I'm not gonna lie, it's confusing that you're German with a name that an American character tried to make sound Spanish
