Best way to increase pc speed

Post by A§H»rUnRiÕt »

Back up the programs you need and wipe that whole thing! Cleans off everything that at first you thought you 'might' need and all the other crap on there, and its not as scary as it sounds... I do it once every year, make sure you back up your drivers if you decide to do it :). It honestly doesn't take long to get your programs back on there, and its just like getting a new pc

Also use a program called Ccleaner. Its free and it is super easy to use. Its purpose is cleaning all the "junk" that accumulated during normal use of your PC. It also has a registry cleaner that removes obsolete keys and other assorted useless stuff. There is also a program that helps gaming performance. It is called Game Booster. It is free as well. This shuts down all unnecessary programs while running a game.

I have some software that is called MRI. It has several utilities in it but what it's best at is detecting and erasing viruses and all forms of malware. I have the latest version in .iso format. If you want a copy contact me and I'll hook you up.

I wouldn't want to do that in fear I'd accidentally delete something I actually needed.

Technically the only way to "increase" speed is to upgrade. THE MORE YOU KNOW

Depends on the computer. For the most part though, no.

I did that and accidentally deleted my photographs (backed it up but forgot to copy it over to the backup drive...)

Luckily all the important photos I had still on the camera's SD card, and ones that weren't were either n Dropbox, or I could recover them using a program (like my photos of Status Quo <3)

Also, I never understood the hate for Vista; I loved the OS.
